Job Description: Pay Range: $40hr $45hr Essential Skills: ssemble and disassemble of plastic and graphite mold for ceramic processing. Experience with mixing ceramic powder processing techniques. Following detail mixing and assembly instructions. ccountable for the venting of pre made batches of mix. Basic maintenance of ceramic processing equipment. Monitoring furnace data acquisition data occasionally during off hours. Mechanical aptitude. Comfortable working directly and indirectly with high and low temperature equipment. Use of or ability to learn sand blasting equipment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Maintain quality control standards and traceability of products in process. MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Use of or ability to learn Ultrasonication equipment for cleaning. Packaging of delicate silcon carbide products. Ceramics Processing shop environment. Preferred: Forklift experience or ability to obtain a forklift license/certification. Experience with high temperature vacuum furnace equipment. Experience with ceramics processing including forming and heat treatment techniques. Knowledge of and familiarity with basic scientific principles and laboratory techniques. Overhead crane experience. Basic Machine Shop experience (Milling, Turning, Grinding). Dye Penetrant Inspection Knowledge. Nice To Have: Forkliftt experience or ability to obtain a forklift license/certification (Not to be used until FTE) Opportunity to learn and gain experience with high temperature vacuum furnace equipment operations - with guards and strick safety protocal. Operation of sand blasting equipment (Closed machine). Experience with ceramics processing including forming and heat treatment techniques.
