Huntsman is seeking a dynamic and highly capable Manufacturing Director Americas to support the Advanced Materials Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position, reporting to the Vice President Operations, will focus on building high performing and cross functional teams, driving operational excellence and delivering strong results. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact leading 7 manufacturing sites (5-7 direct reports) and brings a high level of autonomy and influence. As the Manufacturing Director - Americas you will: Lead the Americas manufacturing sites to safely plan, produce, deliver the budgeted volumes in cost, quality, and on-time delivery while meeting EHS requirements. Develop and implement a strategy to ensure the Americas region can meet current and future production requirements at competitive cost. Serve as a member of the Americas Regional Leadership Team to ensure consistent and full implementation of both global & regional strategic plans and deliver all manufacturing objectives. Act as a member of the Global Operation Leadership group providing strategic manufacturing operations & leadership excellence for all the Americas manufacturing sites. Develop and implement strategies to optimize site performance, improve efficiency and meet customer demands. Lead, mentor and develop a diverse team of professionals (direct and indirect reports) to build a high-performing and learning organization. Align manufacturing goals with overall business objectives by building strong relationships across commercial, supply chain and other internal functions. Ensure full compliance with all local laws, EHS regulations, and Huntsman’s Business Code of Conduct Policies. Required Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. University degree in technical or business disciplines. Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience in senior leadership positions and sound understanding of supply chain processes. Strong business drive and financial acumen. Experience in developing and leading teams with matrix and indirect reporting relationships. Strong influencing and motivational skills with the ability to manage diverse groups. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Facilitation skills to help solve problems, devise solutions, build teamwork. Comprehensive understanding of various business disciplines. Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and comfortable navigating in a changing environment. Ability to travel across the Americas manufacturing sites on a regular basis and periodic travels to other regions. Preferred Qualifications: A master’s degree in business administration is a plus.
