Responsibilities:
•Maintain quality control systems
•Identify required specifications per customer print, determining an appropriate level of variation and monitoring quality assurance rates
•Design automated testing systems and quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process
•Collect data about instances of product errors and investigation of possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process
•Document initial quality standards and the actual quality of products during production
•Find defects, help determine the causes of those defects, and assist to create resolutions
•Teach production staff how to use effective quality controls and supervise outcomes
•Work closely with design and production teams to solve problems.
•Respond to questions about how to achieve quality goals and implement changes to reduce the instance of human or machine errors
Duties:
•Determining quality improvement factors
•Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of the manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment
•Making sure processes adhere to quality standards
•Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
•Programming computerized measuring equipment, such as CMM, Keyence, and GMM
Skills and Qualifications:
•Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, measuring tools, gages, and quality manufacturing processes
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Strong Math Skills
•Knowledge of metals machining
•Attention to detail
•Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Ability to handle stress
•Capable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•Ability to switch between tasks easily
Educational Requirement:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
•Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
•Four (4) or more years of quality engineering experience
