In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities:In this role, you will support, mentor, and motivate a manufacturing team of supervisors and ordnance mechanics to meet operational safety, quality, and productivity goals. You will utilize root-cause analysis and continuous improvement tools to develop solutions and implement systems to meet specific compliance standards in a complex, zero-defect, secure manufacturing environment. The successful candidate for this position will be a self-managing, action-oriented individual focused on developing and supporting a high-performing team while delivering business results.Basic QualificationsTo be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: •Five+ years of supervisory experience.•Previous professional experience with scheduling, production, and/or processing requirements related to ordnance operations.•Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.•Experience Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or Continuous Improvement (CI) events.•You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $86,700 - $166,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
