If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.Vast is looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician, Polymers, reporting to the Supervisor of Additive Manufacturing, to work with Vast's growing inventory of additive machines. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment, as well as part post-processing and quality control. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.Responsibilities: Growing and maintaining polymer print lab capabilitiesCreating and completing AM print jobsVerifying machine settings against best practices, overseeing the print process and quality as the machine operatesSafely handling material following specifications and developed standardsKeep a clean, organized, and thoroughly maintained work spaceDevelop and implement process efficiency improvement projectsIndependently perform verifications and document results in a clear, precise, and complete mannerWork with engineering teams to fulfill mission needs through qualification.Minimum Qualifications:High school degree or equivalency certificate2+ years of polymers additive manufacturing experiencePreferred Skills & Experience:Excellent communication skillsAbility to read, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation and processes such as: assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts listExperience working in the military or at an aerospace manufacturing company (spacecraft, aircraft, etc.)Experience driving engagement with others, taking initiative, and helping push the team to new levelsExperience with various printed polymersAdditional Requirements:Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestonesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs unassistedSpecific certifications, as appropriatePay Range: Additive Manufacturing Technician I: $23.00 - $30.00Additive Manufacturing Technician Technician II: $28.00 - $35.00Salary Range: California$23-$35 USDCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
