PYA P C is hiring: Administrative Assistant - Finance Team in Knoxville

PYA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its high-performing and dynamic culture. This future teammate will support the firm’s Finance Team, which includes the Finance, Accounting, and Salesforce service lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative support to the PYA Finance Team
• Provide backup for accounts payable, and expense reimbursements
• Responsible for basic accounting functions to include general ledger reconciliations and posting journal entries
• Assist the Finance Program with various duties including processing requests for specific reports
• Assist with general office duties and back-up to other Administrative Assistants as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of administrative and accounting experience at a fast-paced, professional services firm preferred
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and take ownership when dealing with support tasks
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines when faced with multiple/competing tasks
• Polished professionalism including a positive attitude combined with excellent oral/written communication skills
• Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and discretion in contacts at all levels – both within and outside the Firm

POSITION TYPE:

• Full-time. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Overtime required at peak times, and as needed
