PMHFOS is currently seeking responsible and dedicated candidates for the Security and Administrative Specialist position in the Harmarville area. This is a full-time position under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Security and Maintenance. The Security and Administrative Specialist will monitor PMHFOS operations to ensure safety, security, loss prevention and adherence to policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SECURITY AND ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST:
- Patrol and/or monitor PMHFOS Harmar Campus, including interior and exterior, to ensure environment is safe and secure.
- Monitor video surveillance cameras at PMHFOS Harmar Campus.
- Test and monitor security systems, as requested by the Vice President of Security and Maintenance.
- Immediately report suspicious activity to the Vice President of Maintenance and Security
- Greet and follow all associated protocols relative to any/all visitors and guests to the PMHFOS Harmar Campus.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and check and handle any voicemail messages received on the main corporate telephone lines.
- Manage and maintain the inventory of supplies at the PMHFOS Harmar Campus.
- Coordinate and manage the cleaning services and other outside vendors at the PMHFOS Harmar Campus.
- Monitor and enforce the PMHFOS Harmar Campus parking plan.
- Conduct scanning of personal belongings, per polices and procedures, as needed, to ensure loss prevention.
- Provide detailed, daily reports on daily activities and any security incidents that may have occurred to management.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Maintenance and Security.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE SECURITY AND ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST:
- Security Guard Training Certification, required.
- Previous security guard experience, required.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, required.
- Valid Driver’s License, required.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail, required.
- Authoritative verbal communication skills, required.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and remain independent from forming relationships with employees being monitored, required.
- Bachelor’ degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
