Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient workflow of our office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and a desire to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities:
· Provide top-notch customer service, both in person and over the phone.
· Perform a variety of clerical duties such as scanning, copying and saving documents digitally.
· Support tax professionals with administrative tasks.
· Schedule meetings, manage calendars and handle correspondence.
· Assemble paper and PDF tax returns for client delivery.
· Use various software systems to assemble tax returns.
· Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct clients to appropriate staff.
· Help manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the office runs efficiently.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in an accounting office.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft office and Google Workspace.
· Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· A proactive attitude and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
· Availability to work extended hours, including weekends, during peak tax season.
