Job Description:
Administrative role to assist with the Tax department with administrative tasks.
Must haves:
1-3 years Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
1-3 years Administrative experience
Responsibilities:
Retrieve Data from information systems, such as invoices, tax exemption certificates, business licenses, etc. in support of government audits
Work on special projects as needed.
Respond to requests from customers and vendors for copies of tax documents, such as W-9 forms, business licenses, sales tax exemption certificates, etc. and assist in maintaining the repository of such commonly requested forms.
Perform general administrative duties and support for the tax department.
Always represent the company in a professional manner.
Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company, including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
Manually uploading certificates and data validation
Follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support.
Gather, compile, and verify information and enter it accurately into documents (such as reports, presentations or forms) and office systems (such as SharePoint sites, databases, billing software, or spreadsheets).
Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
Other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience supporting multiple functions in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
Poise and maturity to interact with individuals outside and inside the organization.
Prioritize and manage deadlines when dealing with multiple tasks combined with the ability to work with a sense of urgency when needed.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to explore and quickly learn other software applications required.
Must be self-motivated.
Very strong organization and verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills that are professional, enthusiastic and cooperative.
