Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.What are we looking for?The CWI Commercial Building Inspector is responsible for performing a variety of non-destructive examinations at various client facilities under the direction of a project manager, team leader or senior level leadership. Salary & Benefits InformationThe base wage or salary range for this position is $30/hr. - $40/hr. What you'll do: Make detailed observations, give interpretation of results, maintain detailed documentation of data from in a clear and timely manner Assist and learn technical matters involving company NDE procedures and techniques Utilize drawings, specifications and diagrams Read and interpret plans and specifications Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks and complex assignments Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE and Rope Access technologies that may be applicable in our business Communicate effectively with client and project teams and attend project meetingsThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: CWI or ICC Structural Steel Special Inspector 1+ years' experience performing commercial building inspections Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required Ability to set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results to applicable codes, standards and specifications Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work off shifts and overtimePreferred Requirements & Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent ASNT Level 1 certification in RT (profile); UT-Thickness; MT and/or PTIntertek: Total Quality.
