It's time to reclaim your work-life balance and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.What You'll Do: Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of careTreat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performanceDirect and aid patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic trainingUtilize physical agents, including, but not be limited to heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massageObserve and report to the physical therapist and the Organization personnel the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in patient's conditionInstruct patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devicesAs an PTA at Connected, you'll be a maverick of creativity, a crusader for compassion, and a trailblazer in personalized care! Here's what we're looking for:Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in Oregon2+ years of experience in physical therapyCritical thinking skills and ability to work independently.Hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationZoom around town in your trusty insured automobileThe employer for this position is stated in the job posting.
