If you're passionate about helping others and eager to make a difference, apply today!**The Physical Therapy Assistant assists the licensed Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services and procedures for people with musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and/or functional disorders as referred by the physician and within the guidelines of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Practice Act.The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical and testing protocols.At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Physical Therapy Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.Responsibilities:Accountable and responsible for implementing treatment programs under direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist according to patients' needs, including modalities, exercise programs, etc.Monitors patient response to treatment and verbally reports patient status and/or changes to the Physical Therapist.Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System in order that they may intervene to provide adequate and appropriate care.Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Physical Therapy Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.RATE: $24.41/HR PLUS A .50 CENT STIPEND!Shift:Day; various start times including 7:30AM, 8AM, 9:30AM, and 10AM, but can vary depending on caseload needs.
