While others in our industry may be contracting, we are growing and our growth creates your opportunity as we recruit a full-time experienced Dock and Door Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain warehouse and material handling equipment. Technician Duties: Repair, and maintain a variety of warehouse, industrial and commercial dock equipment including dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock seals, and shelters.Inspect and troubleshoot overhead door systems including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and high-speed doors.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with dock equipment and overhead doors, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on industrial dock and door systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Collaborate with other team members to coordinate installations and repairs, ensuring timely completion of projects.Keep accurate records of service calls, maintenance tasks, and inventory of parts and equipment.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on industrial sites and operating equipment.Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding the operation and maintenance of dock and door systems.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to industrial dock equipment and overhead doors.RequirementsTechnician Requirements:2+ years in the Dock and Door industryCapable of prioritizing and performing multiple dutiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsPass drug screen and background check and valid driver's license.Proficient with Electrical systems and multimetersDetail-oriented and service focused.A Commercial Dock and Door Technician's salary is dependent upon experience, but includes an excellent bonus program along with health, dental, retirement, and paid time off benefits as well as use of a company vehicle, and mobile phone.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $26 - $35 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour, shift Monday to Friday
