Insight Global is hiring: Entry Level Drafter in Greenville

Insight Global is seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in growing within CAD modeling, drafting, and design to join

their team in Greenville, SC. This role is responsible for taking engineering input to create quality,

ontime, world-class models & drawings for large scale power plant components. This role is supporting

the Configuration Management and Product Definition Engineering team and this team works alongside other engineering teams within the organization. Below is a breakdown of the daily activities:

* Create and maintain drawings, Bills of Materials, and CAD models/assemblies for power generation components

Self-sufficient in the following to enable design completion:

* Retrieving design input information

* Executing design details per standard practice and documentation

* Issuing drawings, models, and Bill of Materials per documented processes

* Interface with drafting, engineering, and manufacturing to create high quality producible

* designs.

* Help define/maintain and meet scheduled dates for design related activities and provide early

* communication to alert management of issues

* Understand and follow GD&T principles and drawing standards.

* Full knowledge of Bill of Material structures/principles.

* Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and change management

* methodology.

* Bachelors in Engineering or Technology-related field

* Understanding of NX CAD software, or other advanced CAD platform and modeling.

* Exposure to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and Bill of Materials

* Ability to work in a professional environment that focuses on teamwork during various design phases

* Strong passion for growing within drafting and design
