In the program, you'll gain real-life experience as a Credit Analyst working alongside a team of experts in one of our business lines. Learn specialized skills and gain access to a variety of industries served by Western Alliance, including: Aerospace, Agriculture, Digital Assets, Entertainment, Gaming, Healthcare, Hotels & Resorts, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Technology, Treasury Management, Venture Capital and Private Equity.
A formal 18 month development program where you'll solve problems, be creative and make an impact. With access to resources necessary to become a successful business professional, you will develop your leadership capabilities working alongside a diverse group from Universities across the country.
WHEN:
The formal program begins depending on graduation date:
January 2025 or June 2025 starts
Note: On-going employment after graduation from this program
Throughout the program, you will participate in challenging projects, mentor with experienced professionals, job shadowing, and attend formal leadership development workshops designed to set you up for professional success. The Credit Analyst will support and be a team member of the following Group:
The Credit Risk & Review Group is organized into two synergistically collaborative teams: Internal Credit Risk Review and Credit Risk Oversight. The Group's Internal Credit Risk Review and Credit Risk Oversight programs collectively help to ensure the safety and soundness of the Bank by independently identifying, assessing, and escalating credit risk to executive management, the Directors' Risk Committee (DRC), federal and state banking regulators, external auditors, and other key stakeholders. To execute its mission, the Credit Risk & Review Group provides independent risk-based credit assurance, advisory, and oversight services to executive management and the Directors' Risk Committee that effective controls are established to manage credit risk and the controls are functioning properly to mitigate that risk.

- College Degree from a 4 year College or University or equivalent
- Completion of an Accounting course
- GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- An interest in working in Commercial Business Banking
