Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
Manage and execute employee benefit payroll deductions efficiently.
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees utilizing ADP Workforce Now.
Maintain accurate personnel database and payroll records.
Verify time and attendance records for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Collaborate with HR team members to update and maintain employee data in the payroll system.
Stay informed about multi-state payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll promptly and professionally.
Offer appropriate payroll-related guidance to supervisors and managers.
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for management review.
Aid in year-end procedures, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:
5+ years of payroll experience
Thorough understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
Multistate and union payroll experience is a plus
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
