is seeking a qualified individual as a Records Processor for our national and well respected Financial Services client.
This consultant will have the importance of processing, recording and distributing all incoming/outgoing mail via Postal Service and overnight delivery packages for the Syracuse NY division.

$$$ : Hourly pay rate range - $20-22/hr
POSITION PURPOSE: To review & distribute all incoming mail for Company Financial Services and its' subsidiaries, create daily check log, and log and work any returned mail items.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Open and close the mail room area Responsible for the postage meter and communication with the Post Office Daily maintenance of Federal Express and packages Perform tasks such as opening, stamping, and sorting Review all outgoing overnight packages to ensure all contents are in correct package Check packages and record information Keep a log of outgoing packages and who sent them Scan and log all incoming checks to the firm and delivery to Cashiering Log all incoming stock certificates and bearer bonds and deliver to Cashiering Log all incoming returned mail to the firm and process Handle monies received for employee postage Monitor postage on postage meter and replenish postage as necessary Maintain and create department procedures as necessary Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency of operation Perform any job tasks or duties assigned by management
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: High School Degree, or equivalent Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Self-motivated Data entry Microsoft Office
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP AND LEVEL OF INTERACTION: Large amount of interaction with all internal departments.
Extensive interaction with outside representatives, fund companies, and delivery companies such as Federal Express, UPS and the US Postal Service.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems in timely manner.
Ability to identify departments and individuals involved in resolving problems.
