Performs prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and functions as a resource person to achieve therapeutic goals in the care of patient's cardiopulmonary dysfunctions with special expertise in the practice of a subspecialty in Respiratory Care, such as diagnostic testing such as pulmonary function or bronchoscopy. Consults with physicians and other health team members to determine treatment procedures and time schedules. Actively participates in in-service education, infection control and performance improvement programs.EducationAssociates Degree : Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program (Required)Experience1 Year experience as a registered respiratory therapist in subspecialty such as pulmonary function testing or bronchoscopy.
