Seeking a talented
Staff Electrical Engineer
to join our dynamic Circuit Design team in
San Diego, CA . In this role, you’ll take on a leadership position while also contributing as a hands-on engineer. You'll be responsible for a wide range of activities including mixed-circuit design, analysis, test support, and hardware development. As a key member of the team, you'll help drive innovation in the design, qualification, and production of cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor junior engineers while performing detailed electrical mixed circuit design and analysis.
Support the development and execution of qualification testing, including the preparation of test procedures and reports.
Design and develop test systems using
LabView
and
NI TestStand .
Troubleshoot and repair mixed-circuit
CCAs
(Circuit Card Assemblies).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware production and manufacturing processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
in Electrical Engineering with at least
12 years
of relevant experience, OR
Master’s degree
in Electrical Engineering with at least
10 years
of experience.
Proficiency with
Altium Designer
for schematic capture and board layout.
Hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mixed-circuit
CCAs .
Familiarity with common test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and network analyzers).
Experience in designing and troubleshooting with
NI LabView
and
NI TestStand
software.
Knowledge of
IPC
and
Military standards
for circuit design and testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on
mixed-circuit design .
Experience working with
FPGA ,
CPLD , and
microcontrollers .
Familiarity with the design and development of automated test equipment.
Proficiency in simulation tools such as
OrCAD ,
PSpice ,
LTspice , or
MATLAB Simulink .
Pay Details:
$60.00 to $62.00 per hour
