Overview

Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

Responsible for maintaining operational readiness and maximizing the production efficiency of the Cold Form Press Lines and Extrusion Line production equipment.

This will include making production parts, basic troubleshooting, and making basic repairs to the Cold Form equipment on these production lines.

This position will also be responsible for maintaining the established quality standards as required by Stryten Energy and customer needs.

Shift schedule is Days:

6:00am to 6:00pm OR Nights:

6:00 pm to 6:00 am, 4 days on/4 days off

Training will be on one of our 3 shifts (8 hours, M-F for about 4 - 5 weeks.

Upon completion of the training, successful candidates move to the 12 hour work shift)

Pay rate = $19.53 + $1.15 for shift differential on nights

Responsibilities

Embraces and follows the Beliefs and Values of Stryten Energy Embraces and follows the work and safety rules and wears all required personal protective equipment. Maximizing production efficiency of the Cold Form Presses and Extrusion production lines. Compliance with quality control requirements of all parts made on the Cold Form Press and Extrusion production lines. Tooling changeover of production parts made on the Extrusion production lines while minimizing downtime of the line. Completing all required production and quality control daily paperwork. Communicating with Cold Form Technicians, Cold Form Tool and Machine repair person(s), Cold Form Manufacturing Engineer, and Cold Form Manager when problems and issues with production arise. Communicating verbally and/or in writing with incoming or preceding personnel on status of all equipment, parts, manufacturing or quality problems. Training any new or backup Cold Form Operators. Completing preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Cold Form Manager. Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action. The above list of responsibilities describes normal work but the Supervisor may assign this person to duties not listed when production requirements dictate or when there is not enough work in the regular classification to fill out the workday.

Qualifications

Tenth (10) grade reading, addition, division, fractions, decimals, and communications skills. Must be a well-motivated self-starter and works well with others and without supervision showing professionalism in all areas of daily work. Proven satisfactory work history (attendance and performance).

This must be maintained. Attendance is critical to this position. Must be able to be trained on how to read and understand engineering blueprints. (Test) Has to function well in a team environment and must communicate well with others. Willingness to take instructions and/or directions from Cold Form Technician I and/or Cold Form Technician II on operational issues. Must have basic mechanical skills and can use basic hand tools. (Test) Must be proficient and accurate using Go/No go Gages. (Test) Must be able to maintain efficient operation of the Cold Form Press Lines to manufacture quality parts at the standard manufacturing rate. Must be able to maintain efficient operation of the Extrusion and Casting Lines to manufacture quality parts at the standard manufacturing rate. Must be able to setup the Casting and Extrusion Lines for different production parts.

This to include installation of extrusion tooling. Must have completed forklift driver training program. Must be able to handle large work. (25lbs. Minimum) Must show flexibility and readiness for innovations to move the company forward. Other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor. Must have own hand tools as determined by Manager, Cold Form. Qualifications must be gained six (6) months after training has begun in any skill offered.
