Superintendent - Construction - Los Angeles

Oversee and manage retail construction projects in Los Angeles. Description Superintendent for commercial ground up projects in Los Angeles will do the following: Plan and coordinate project activities inline with company polices and procedures Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure on time project delivery Communicate effectively, establish and foster relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs changes for project completion Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site Work directly with the project managers to prepare schedules, organize the structure, select staff, and handle the construction equipment. Direct and control the project to ensure specifications and guidelines are met Contact, schedule and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and utilities. Assist in the activities of the project manager/engineer. Hold job site meetings with project managers and the regional manager. Profile 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the retail construction industry. Strong knowledge of retail construction processes, codes, and regulations. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Job Offer The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
