Description

Valdese Weavers is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company and has been in business for over 100 years. As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers.

Job Summary: The Product Launch Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the product development process from concept to launch. This position involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring that products meet quality standards and market needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a passion for bringing innovative products to market.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist in planning and coordinating product development projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and production teams to facilitate communication and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to inform product development decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of product specifications, development processes, and project timelines to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes to ensure product quality in alignment with company expectations.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of product samples for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from team members and customers to inform product improvements and iterations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety:
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
  • Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
Position Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
