We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, along with experience in public accounting. This role involves preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, and providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency in accounting software such Drake accounting is highly desirable.

What You Need:

·         You must be able to obtain active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

·         Must be willing and available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, but we can offer 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

·         Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses.

·         Review financial records to determine tax liability and eligibility for deductions.

·         Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and changes in financial laws.

·         Utilize accounting software to manage client accounts efficiently.

·         Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.

Qualifications

·         Proven 3 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role.

·         Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial concepts.

·         Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Drake software.

·         Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

·         Strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills.

·         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
