Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Remote Tax Professional to join our dynamic team at Liberty Tax. This seasonal position is designed for tax season, but we aim for continuity, encouraging candidates to return year after year to leverage their growing expertise with us. The role offers full-time hours ranging from 20-50 hours/week with flexible shifts available between 9 AM - 8 PM. On-target earnings range from $18-$20/hour, including a base wage of $13-$15/hour and a performance-based bonus paid on April 30.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in preparing individual income tax returns.
• Bonus: Experience filing WV state income taxes.
• Additional Plus: Experience with multi-state tax returns, especially WV/VA, WV/MD, WV/PA.
• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection, excellent telephone skills, and experience using Zoom and/or Google Meet.
• Must have a dual-monitor computer setup to efficiently manage client interactions and tax software.
• Computer must come equipped with working camera and microphone for client-facing interaction.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
