Entry level warehouse associate to perform the following warehouse jobs; pick, pack, box making, heavy lifting, material handler, cross dock, and quality assurance and other various warehouse tasks.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Entry level warehouse associate to perform the following warehouse jobs; pick, pack, box making, heavy lifting, material handler, cross dock, and quality assurance and other various warehouse tasks.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transports incoming and outgoing inventory to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or cherry picker
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to standard operating procedures
- Load and unload trucks
- Palletize completed orders
- Pre-build and stage packaging materials
- Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments.
- Working knowledge with digital scanners
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
- Participates in quality improvement processes.
- Adhering to daily schedules and deadlines
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Picks, packs, and handles materials for orders.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Flexible, and able to move within other warehouse positions.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team Player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- 1-2 years working knowledge and expertise in Forklift operation, maintenance, order processing, receiving, replenishing, and returns.
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- 1-year customer service experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid understanding and knowledge of inventory practices
- Familiar with WMS applications
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting
- Repetitive movements
- Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
- Continually work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasional loud noise
- Occasional varying environmental temperature changes
