Chemical technician

Location : Cartersville, GA

Contract : 6 Months
• We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Technician to join our team at the water

treatment plant. The Chemical Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient

and effective treatment of water, adhering to strict quality and safety standards. The

ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a

commitment to environmental stewardship.
• Key Responsibilities:

Ø Experience in bench and/or analytical chemistry, familiarity with water treatment

Ø plant operations, and some mechanical aptitude.

Ø Chemical Testing: Conduct regular testing of water samples to assess chemical

Ø levels, pH balance, turbidity, and other parameters to ensure compliance with

Ø regulatory standards.

Process Monitoring: Monitor treatment processes and adjust chemical dosages

Ø as needed to optimize efficiency and maintain water quality.

Ø Quality Control: Perform quality control checks to identify and address any

Ø deviations from prescribed treatment protocols.

Ø Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, test results,

Ø equipment maintenance, and other relevant data in compliance with regulatory

Ø requirements.

Ø Safety Compliance: Work is in an industrial setting which is subject to hot and

Ø cold temps, bending, lifting, standing and requires PPE. Adhere to all safety

Ø protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or environmental

Ø hazards associated with chemical handling and plant operations.

Ø Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other plant personnel, including

Ø operators, engineers, and supervisors, to ensure seamless coordination and

effective communication
