Physician / Radiology - Breast Imaging / Oregon / Permanent / 100% Breast Radiol

We are looking to add one new member to our team of 6 employed Breast Radiologists (over 60 total Radiologists in the department).

• True Academic position with teaching, research & clinical trials
• Oversee all aspects of breast imaging and interventions including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, biopsies, and pre-surgical localizations
• Have residents and/or fellows with you everyday
• "We are a teaching radiologist working with highly sensitive results on a daily basis."
• Have to be fellowship trained and have their Mammography Quality Standards Act
• Research opportunities, really want someone that is interested in progressing their career. Not staying as an Assistant Professor their entire career. Will come in at their current academic level.
• Educational responsibilities will include teaching at all levels commensurate with a large academic center, including medical student, resident, fellow and postgraduate training.

We have MRI services and advanced imaging procedures, such as stereotactic biopsy, MRI-guided biopsy, breast cancer staging and pre-operative localization. The Breast Center at offers conventional digital mammography, as well as three-dimensional (3-D) mammography technology (breast tomosynthesis). The clinic offers same-day and walk-in screenings, as well as Saturday appointments.

• We use all-digital mammography equipment, and are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), and certified by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) of the FDA.
• Breast imagers do not take call.
• Conference coverage includes a weekly Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Breast Care Conference.
