Job Description
1. Partners in the identification and development of transformational initiatives and opportunities consistent with the mission and strategic direction of the Health System under the direction of Senior Leadership.
2. Serves as subject matter expert in project engineering for the Business Operations team and supports additional teams across the Health System as appropriate.
3. Mentors team members on their development and performance improvement techniques including assisting with strategic planning of initiatives focused on Health System priorities.
4. Leads teams, attends high level administrative meetings, provides expertise in process improvement and transformation, in support of system wide projects related to the evolution of operations within New York City Health + Hospital facilities under direction of the Assistant Vice President.
5. Provides direction and support to the process improvement and operations teams ensuring the teams are informed of all necessary analytics and ongoing initiative stages or details.
6. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships within the system in order to obtain information and content from providers and colleagues to foster successful project completion.
7. Stays current with advancements in processes and technology which could benefit the Health System. Leverages this knowledge to assess potential transformation within our business and shares insights with leadership.
8. Coordinates and manages multiple projects across the Health System, as needed.
9. Coordinates project site monitoring activities, and may participate in site monitoring associated with initiation, interim, close out, and audit visits as required.
10. Serves as the liaison by understanding and interpreting business requirements, mapping process models, designing technical solutions to satisfy requirements, and completing formal system piloting.
11. Supports the Assistant Vice President to achieve initiative goals for submission and approvals, facility initiation, source document verification, data monitoring, ownership and accountability, and facility/site closure.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management or other related discipline from an accredited college or university; and six (6) years of satisfactory, full-time paid responsible experience in information processing, program management, systems development or related activity in a large governmental agency, hospital or health care facility, or hospital-related business firm, three (3) years of which must have been in a managerial capacity; or
2. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in "1" above, and five (5) years of experience, as described in #2 above, one (1) year of which must have been in a managerial capacity; or
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
• Process improvement
• Process mapping
• Has a minimum of 5 years of process improvement and/or project management experience
• Has excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
• Has excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Has the ability to travel up to 20%, based on project needs.
• Has proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Project, Excel, Word and standard computer programs required.
• Is a highly-motivated, meticulous, and innovative individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented work environment in a cutting-edge field of business transformation
