Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals for the Gas & Chemical Technician position in support of Client.

This challenging, hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, growing business within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Technicians will receive on-the-job training, develop critical technical skills, and may be considered for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and operate gas and chemical distribution systems used in semiconductor manufacturing, specifically in the production of chips for electronic devices like smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs.



Key Responsibilities
  • Safely handle and change out gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
  • Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair gas and chemical equipment.
  • Operate computer systems to support job functions and customer needs.
  • Support and adhere to quality systems and procedures.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient supply of chemicals and gases to production lines.
  • Assist in maintaining safety protocols, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in maintenance, equipment technology, or mechanical/electronic environments is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Software: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with chemical and gas distribution systems is beneficial but not required.
  • Military training and experience are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders and work at heights with fall protection.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach overhead, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, including safety glasses, hard hats, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, and more.
  • Workers will receive vouchers to purchase safety boots, which are required to be worn on the job.
