Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and execute strategic plans for driving corporate initiatives for targeting new emerging markets and or market expansion or diversification in alignment with the Director, Strategy and Business Development
- Develop strategic relationships at targeted accounts in the value chain to develop opportunities for growth and seamlessly transition to sales execution.
- Provide leadership with the industry influencing accounts. Communicate internally to ensure execution at influencing accounts that drive future GT roadmap activities and share growth.
- Collaborate fully with engineering, product management and operations to determine if we have existing capabilities to solve customer pain points and if not will partner internally to develop a strategy to obtain those: product development (FTA), acquisition of capabilities, organic growth.
- Expand Greene, Tweed portfolio, industry knowledge and insights to grow targeted industry segments.
- Accountable to develop and communicate all areas of the strategic growth plan to ensure successful execution across regions and territories across industry verticals as appropriate.
- Instrumental in enabling sales on strategic account approach, value proposition, competitive landscape.
- Provide input on strategic direction/influencer insight, industry trends and anticipated regulations that will affect our product/industry roadmaps, value proposition and timing of new product introductions.
- Identify and grow opportunities globally and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
- As part of the strategic plan, identifies and develops campaign focus.
- Identify and ensures Greene Tweed industry influence into key industry committees and marketing events to build Greene Tweed brand and obtain knowledge of competitive landscape, develop strategies to expand share and ensure Greene Tweed's value proposition is considered early in the specification process.
Education: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (or equivalent experience); Master's degree desired.
Skills and Experience:
- 10 years related consultative sales experience, including the demonstrated ability to effectively influence and build new strategic relationships.
- Relevant industry knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse team to develop a global market plan and successfully penetrate the strategic segments in the industry.
- Technical Knowledge - Passion for technology and the ability to present complex products succinctly to both technical and business decision-makers in industry.
- Proven track record of hitting revenue targets as well as data mining, prospecting, and new account development.
- Results- and process-driven mindset to effectively build a diversified opportunity funnel and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Cross Functional Collaboration - Able to work effectively in a matrix organization. Demonstrated collaborative skills to inspire others to assist in endeavors.
- Understands sales process and relevant tools/processes (SWOT, value-based pricing/selling, and cost estimating process).
- Demonstrated negotiation, active listening, communication, and presentation skills required.
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills to move customers forward and close deals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
- Able to work well in a team environment. Team leadership capabilities: must be able to work effectively with a diverse multi-functional team of technical and sales professional to meet the goals related to specific products either currently available or being developed and customers, either current or being developed.
- Able to make decisions consistent with business strategy.
- Cultural knowledge, cognizance and understanding of acceptable behavioral practices and cultural differences in the business and social environment.
- Ability to travel 50-70% of time (domestic and international)
- Must have a valid driver's license

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $170,000 - $190,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
