Plant Controller

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Controller to join our client's team in Erie County, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting. This role is critical in overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  
• Conduct cost accounting and analysis to support manufacturing operations.
  
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
  
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• Masters, CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller position.
  
• Extensive experience in manufacturing and cost accounting.
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
