Your Opportunity

A dynamic and highly motivated individual with administrative and operations skills to provide support to the Denver office Buildings group and other Business Center offices and team members. The Operations team works together as a pool of support for our Buildings group.

Your Key Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Administrative Duties

  • Supporting and collaborating with our internal Business Center teams

  • Resource scheduling

  • Formatting, proofreading and preparation of documents including, but not limited to, reports, proposal, specifications, graphics assistance, social media support, presentations, contracts (AIA), drawings, spreadsheets, digital signature, tenders etc. to company standards as assigned

  • Perform administrative functions such as typing, filing, scanning, photocopying, courier, and printing.

  • Microsoft Teams administration

  • Coordinate travel itineraries and arrangements

  • Assist with preparation of expense reports

  • Prepare, submit and track expenditure requests

  • Timecard administration

  • Responsible for records management

  • Facilitate Business Center new hire onboarding and orientation

  • Order promotional materials as required

  • Assist with special event planning, including social committee activities, staff meetings.

  • Maintenance of Business Center Sharepoint site

  • Awards deadline coordination and submission assistance

  • Identify and coordinate various diversity and inclusivity initiatives

  • Other duties may be assigned such as team-building initiatives with the Buildings and Administrative teams

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Ability to work in-office 5 days per week with remote option in emergent situations

  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize duties, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Must have excellent written skills including the ability to proofread and edit documents

  • Professional verbal communication skills with the ability to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally

  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks

  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of an effective team

  • Versatility, flexibility and willingness to work within frequently changing priorities

  • Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information

  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility

  • Punctual and reliable with a flexible attitude

  • Proficient level of skills/experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and, Outlook, MS Teams, and Adobe skills with managing PDFs; InDesign and Sharepoint skills a plus

Education and Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associate’s degree with relevant experience

  • 5 plus years of related administrative experience, preferably in the Architectural or Engineering industries

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • $65,300 - $94,700 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI and MD

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
