Description
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Warehouse Associate with experience in warehouse operations and forklift operation to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient management of our inventory, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of goods while adhering to safety and quality standards. Experience with LTL order and UPS parcel picking, packing, processing is preferred. This position may also involve leadership responsibilities, overseeing team activities and providing guidance to less experienced associates.
Pay Range: 18.00 to 20.50 an hour (based on experience) - 7:30am to 4pm M-F
Must have 3+ years of warehouse AND standup forklift experience

Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to resolve issues related to shipments or inventory discrepancies.
- Customer Service Focus: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to orders and shipments.
- Loading and Unloading Trailers: Efficiently load and unload trailers, ensuring proper handling of all products to minimize damage and maintain inventory integrity.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Unload incoming shipments, verify items against packing slips, and inspect goods for damage or defects.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that complies with regulatory standards.
- Shipping & Handling: Prepare and label packages for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, particularly for UPS parcels.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to fellow associates. Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Will Call Operations: Manage will call orders, ensuring that customer pickups are organized and handled efficiently while providing a positive experience.
- Basic math and reading skills; strong computer skills required.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum [3] years of proven experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Proven experience operating forklifts; forklift certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and procedures.
- Experience with UPS parcel processing and packaging is preferred.
