Employee assists coworkers with inventory control during the inbound and outbound process of freight in the distribution center.

Employee assists coworkers with inventory control during the inbound and outbound process of freight in the distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with warehouse personnel, the Purchasing department, and the Accounts Payable department.
- Process and check inbound freight.
- Performs basic warehouse functions like picking order, receiving and put-aways.
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma required
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Inventory software and Spreadsheet software.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to identify and count products.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Experience on an order picker and electric pallet jack preferred.
- Frequent need to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Manual dexterity sufficient for keyboarding required.
- Must be available to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
