This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a thorough understanding of social work principles, and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and challenges. Formulate accurate clinical diagnoses and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support a holistic understanding of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, incorporating evidence-based interventions and client-centered goals. Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans to support therapeutic progress.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities, implementing evidence-based interventions to address mental health issues, trauma, and other psychosocial concerns.
- Respond to crisis situations promptly and effectively, providing immediate support and intervention as needed. Coordinate with emergency services and other stakeholders during crises.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the healthcare system and broader community, coordinating and managing clients' care in collaboration with healthcare professionals and community resources.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Prepare and submit required reports, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LSW, or LMSW).
- Experience providing mental health services to diverse populations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading group therapy sessions.
- Experience working with eating disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in crisis intervention and case management.
- Proficiency in additional therapeutic modalities.
