Position Reports to: Director of Event Operations

The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for assisting the Banquets and Food & Beverage Departments to set up and break down events. Enhance the dining experience by following proper service procedures and by exceeding member expectations. Willingness and ability to interact and communicate courteously and politely with members. Maintain a professional demeanor, work harmoniously with others, and strive to excel.

The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for assisting the Banquets and Food & Beverage Departments to set up and break down events. Primary Responsibilities:
- Be a productive member of the team by showing up on time, properly groomed and dressed, in a positive frame of mind
- Gather and set daily functions: placing tables and chairs, setting to specifications provided by manager and as indicated on event write-up documents
- Break down event spaces and return furniture, dishware, and décor to respective storage areas
- Stock storage rooms as needed and maintain organization within all storage spaces
- Clean member and event spaces
- Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members, other department employees, members, and guests
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Ability to understand the essential procedures of cleaning and sanitizing.
- Exposure to a private club environment preferred
- Must be able bend and reach for items off shelves
- Must be able to lift tables and chairs up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
