Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate will be verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties.
Schedule: The full-time Warehouse positions work 12-hour shifts. Day shift is 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM. The work week is an alternating 36 or 48 hours (12 hour shifts rotating on a 2 weeks cycle: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) resulting in a 3 day weekend every other week and some built in overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Determines method of shipment, when necessary.
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information cartons.
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
- Inserts items into containers.
- Screw covers on wooden crates and/or binds containers with strapping.
- Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
- Posts weights, shipping charges, and affixes postage.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Routes items to departments.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operates forklift to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage to work area.
- Operates an overhead crane to move product.
- Operates binding equipment.
- Operates Miter/Chop Saw.
- Use basic hand tools.
- Keep records of materials sent.
- Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
- Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements, when necessary, and to issue instructions for loading products.
- Stay current on all ZPG Procedures for packaging.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Experience of one year or more in a warehouse/material handling environment is preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Graduation from high school or a GED is preferred.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents, follow procedures, maintain a safe and ethical work environment, and willingness to work as a team member are also needed.

- No climate control - temperature can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Handling of carbon fiber can cause itchiness.
- Strong odors may be present.
- Moderately dirty because of materials and machinery handled.
- Excessive fly may be present.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, stoop, crouch and crawl. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Good finger and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift, turn, bend, squat, kneel, reach, pull, walk or stand for periods of time
- Ability to tolerate heat and must be able to wear a bump cap, respirator, Tyvek suit, gloves, ear plugs, and other types of PPE as needed
- Ability to tolerate itchy material
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
