Job Description Job Description Teledyne Relays (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC) is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF Matrix switching systems. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in the United States and Mexico. We are a vertically orientated manufacturing and design company with major operations in Southern California. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team! Responsibilities: Creates and maintains the master production schedule (MPS). The MPS will indicate when each assembly and subassembly will be produced and how many units of each. Uses input from the sales, and operations planning process to create the MPS. Manages customer demand (CO), production capacity (internal and external), and lead time. Provides Alerts on Revenue Risk, manages Manufacturing Dates and Past due dates. Works with the production planner to provide Clear to Build for new demand and Shortage alert. Audits and monitors ERP action recommendations. Works with the production planner to ensure that the MPS is achievable and to make changes to the schedule as needed. Audits ERP parameters and aligns it to operations process. Qualifications: At least a minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in material/production planning and procurement in a mid-to-large company, preferably in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum of years of directly related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience Solid understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Material Review Planning (MRP) knowledge required Knowledgeable and experience in electronic components required APICS CPIM and or ISM Certified preferred Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 strongly preferred Greenbelt Lean Manufacturing 6 Sigma certificate or equivalent training preferred Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/ Kaizen preferred Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must be able to travel to Supplier base location In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills. Salary Range: $74,800.00-$99,880.000 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
