MAU is hiring a Tool Crib Attendant for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for inspecting, issuing, retrieving, and tracking materials and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production floor operations. This is long-term opportunity.

Shift Information
  • Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance or manufacturing setting with knowledge of machine maintenance and lean manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and related systems
  • Experience using Maximo or a comparable Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of 5S and Six Sigma methodologies for effective problem-solving

Preferred Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in tools/parts distribution, tool repair, or shipping/receiving
  • Associate's Degree in an engineering discipline, manufacturing, mechatronics, or equivalent experience
Essential Functions
  • Organize and maintain the tool and equipment storage area for optimal accessibility and order
  • Monitor and uphold facility standards to reflect industry-leading inventory management practices
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring availability and accuracy
  • Inspect hoses, equipment, and pumps for issues, including hydraulic and high-pressure systems
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on operator equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Identify necessary parts for inventory replenishment and assist with minor repairs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, interfacing effectively with all personnel levels to communicate issues and updates
  • Prepare and manage documentation, maintaining database entries as required
  • Determine material space requirements and position items effectively within storage areas
  • Coordinate the movement of shipments from production to storage and work areas
  • Maintain detailed reports and records to document departmental activities and inventory levels
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives within the department
  • Prepare records for management, ensuring documentation aligns with leadership requirements
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to procedures, practices, and regulations, fostering a positive safety culture
