What you will be doing

The Player Development Manager plays a critical role in fostering meaningful relationships with VIP guests, ensuring their loyalty and satisfaction while driving revenue for the property. This position leads a dynamic team focused on delivering personalized experiences that align with the company's mission of bringing excitement and enjoyment in an inclusive environment. By exemplifying professionalism, collaboration, and adaptability, the Player Development Manager ensures that VIP programs and services consistently exceed expectations, contributing to the company's vision of becoming an entertainment company in constant evolution.
  • Manage a team of Player Development Executives that focus on VIP business and business development.
  • Lead the team in promoting the facility by contacting perspective members to build loyalty to our property.
  • Set goals for the Player Development Executive team and ensure they are meeting their goals.
  • Monitor discretionary free play and comps to ensure that limits are not exceeded and that they are being used within the guidelines of the company's policies.
  • Manage VIP ticket inventory for shows and events at Stage 954
  • Ensure the distribution of VIP tickets is properly executed and that the tickets are being utilized properly.
  • Create, plan, execute, and evaluate events/promotions/giveaways exclusive to VIP guests.
  • Create schedules for the Player Development team that accommodate the business demands of the property and ensure the team is following their assigned schedules.
  • Meets regularly with the Player Development team and Director of Marketing.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain business relationships with patrons.
  • Maintains a database of high-volume (VIP) players.
  • Issue complimentary items or other offers to guests as play and property guidelines warrant
  • Provide information to the team and property leadership related to guest feedback, suggestions, concerns or issues
  • Work in the development of new and existing VIP programs and benefits to build loyalty.
  • Identify new and existing VIP players and ensure they are receiving the benefits and attention from the Player Development team that they deserve.
  • Accurately maintain Player Development reports and spreadsheets.
  • Has full understanding of facility's features, amenities and systems (Players Club, ticketing system, etc.).
  • Recruits and registers new members, explains Players Club benefits and rules and validates promotional points.
  • Stays updated and ensures the Player Development team stays updated on promotions, special events, etc. to be able to competently inform guests.
  • Organizes onsite and offsite special events for high end players.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • 10+ years Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and patron relations skills.
  • Must be able to manage a team of 3+ employees.
  • Must have keen attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and problem solve.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be willing to learn Players Club systems.
  • Must be flexible and able to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted.
  • Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
  • Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.
Physical Requirements:

Physically able to handle the demands of the job, including:
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged standing and walking and move through all areas of the casino.
