Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with Saturday rotations, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee medication dispensing and ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide expertise on drug therapy, interactions, and optimal dosages to improve therapeutic outes.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure proper medication usage and pliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular medication reviews, assess patient pliance, and tailor treatment plans based on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
• Maintain secure storage of medicinal products in line with state and federal guidelines.
• Address medication-related inquiries from medical staff and the general public.
• Guide long-term care facilities monthly and support ongoing healthcare training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; active Nebraska state license.
• Preferred: PharmD with a minimum of three years of experience in retail pharmacy.
• Strong munication skills and adherence to patient confidentiality standards.
