What we are looking for We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Portfolio / Asset Management Analyst to join our growing Investment Management Group. This role will be focused on maximizing the performance and leading the reporting of current and future funds. Responsibilities: Maximize investment performance of Manufactured Housing assets and portfolios. Work with institutional Joint Venture (JV) partners to understand their goals and expectations; serve as their internal advocate. Assist with deal-flow items (recapitalizations, refinances, dispositions, onboarding acquisitions, lender requests). Preparation and implementation of the annual business plan. Analyze large amounts of property data to identify strategies to maximize the value of assets. Propose portfolio strategies; offer expertise on investments, budgets, operations, etc. Benchmark performance to original underwriting, budget, MH sector, and CRE industry. Identify and implement software systems that automate portfolio management. Lead reporting, including monthly and quarterly investor packages and ad hoc requests. Manage and improve strategic relationships with institutional real estate investment firms. Create and update portfolio level budget based on asset-level budget and JV considerations. Adhere to compliance requirements and identify and communicate risks. Consider implications of acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing, and investment in capex on portfolio performance. Lead dispositions, in collaboration with Asset Management and Acquisitions. Support refinancing efforts. Work with Legal on regulatory filings and unexpected issues or concerns. Lead new joint ventures in conjunction with colleagues and advisors. Assist Treasury with forecast of cash sources and uses including capital calls and distributions. Understand the Joint Venture Agreement and other key legal documents as they relate to each portfolio. Education / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with substantive and relevant work experience in finance and/or real estate. MBA or CFA a plus. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with Excel as a required skill. Proficient in financial analysis and financial modeling. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external parties to meet deadlines and resolve issues. Exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization skills. Team player, self-motivated and strong work ethic. Ability to prioritize and manage time to consistently meet deadlines.
