Job Description:
Business Analyst - Finance Experience Required - Long Term Position - 2 years or Longer
Complete Description:
Support of the fiscal, budgetary, and accounting operations for AMD. Plans, organizes, develops, maintains, and coordinates the development and implementation of fiscal operations, processes, policies and procedures for the MN program.
Support development of the annual agency's MN budget and reviews statewide expenditure and spend plan data. Will perform monthly program/project expense analysis and assist with the review and analysis of MN expenditures and budgets. Will be responsible for supporting executive decision making and presenting the financial aspects of projects to senior management. Requires understanding budgeting and accounting with the ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend solutions.
Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote financial accountability, and assist in identifying performance improvement opportunities.
Provide good customer service to internal team members & external customers, comprehensive analytical skills (Excel, MS Word), being an effective communicator, as well as being self-motivated and showing initiative while accomplishing the task at hand.
