Warehouse Associate Job at Connect Staffing in Houston

MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF MATERIAL HANDLING EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join a leading solar company in North Houston!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (Occasional Saturday's)

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of material handling experience.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check.
• Ability to lift 50+lbs.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack is a plus!
• Prior experience in roles such as a Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, Inventory Clerk, or Order Picker is a big plus!

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software. Organize and store materials to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Fulfill orders by picking appropriate items from inventory and packing them securely for shipment to installation sites or other warehouses.
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or containers using forklifts or pallet jacks. Ensure all items are securely loaded and properly documented.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and products to ensure they meet specifications and are in good condition before distribution.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling materials and operating warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Coordinate with other warehouse staff, logistics teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
