Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated VDC Assistant Project Manager to support the design and execution of MEPF systems for multifamily high-rise and commercial construction projects. This role focuses on assisting with mechanical system design, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring that all design and construction processes meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Design Support:
Aid in the development of mechanical systems designs, including HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork layouts. Project Team Coordination:
Collaborate with project teams and Revit CADD technicians to ensure the accuracy of designs and constructability. Stakeholder Interaction:
Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and inspecting authorities to align project objectives and address any issues. Design Optimization:
Contribute to refining design solutions by applying industry standards and considering customer requirements and budget constraints. Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years in mechanical design or a related field. Technical Skills:
Proficient in CADD/Revit with experience in VRV, WSHP, and DX Split systems. Familiarity with HVAC load calculations using tools like Trane Trace is advantageous. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanical codes (IPC, IMC, IBC, ASHRAE) and mechanical and plumbing systems. Communication Skills:
Effective in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, with foundational HVAC calculation abilities. Core Values:
