Job Description Job Description Finance & Accounting Analyst Job Description SUMMARY The position is responsible for activities that include gathering and organizing financial data, analyzing historical results, assisting with forecasts and projects, and applying appropriate accounting principles to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information. RESPONSIBILITIES • Revenue and expense analysis • Analyzing financial results and activity for trends and corrective action • Review assigned monthly account reconciliation schedules • Forecast and budget preparation • Development of actions to improve profitability and processes • Assist with responding to requests related to audits • Serve as backup for various accounting functions • Other similar duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Bachelor’s degree required with major in Accounting or Finance with an Accounting emphasis • Experience: 5-7 years in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment required • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and principles of finance • Construction accounting experience a plus • Intermediate skills with ERP – Viewpoint a plus • Proficient in Microsoft Office products – Intermediate level required COMPETENCIES: • Determination and Initiative • Analytical Skills and Problem-Solving Ability • Attention to Detail • Collaboration • Adaptability • Internal Customer Service • Accountability • Positive Attitude Company Description Who We Are: For over 30 years, ISC has provided safe, high quality electrical, and controls solutions to global leading industrial manufacturers.
