Job Scope: Are you a proven leader in global ocean/air logistics and trade compliance? Liberty Hardware seeks a Senior Manager of Global Ocean Freight Logistics and Trade Compliance to drive operational excellence and compliance within our Global Sourcing, Trade Compliance, and Logistics department. In this role, you’ll lead strategies to optimize inbound logistics and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help shape Liberty Hardware’s future while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. What You’ll Do: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute global logistics strategies for efficient ocean container movement and compliance with long-term business objectives. Trade Compliance: Lead and enhance trade compliance programs, including Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and C-TPAT, ensuring the organization stays ahead of and adheres to U.S. trade regulations and global standards to mitigate risks. Team Development: Mentor and guide team members to build skills, enhance performance, and foster professional growth. Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and align operations with corporate objectives. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions. Freight Management: Oversee freight audit processes across air, LTL, truckload, and ocean carriers, ensuring accuracy and value. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with Masco Logistics leadership, business units, external forwarders, and trucking companies. Regulatory Expertise: Monitor changes in trade regulations, ensuring compliance for existing and new products. What You Bring: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership in logistics or manufacturing, with a proven strong track record of success. Global Trade Expertise: Experience managing logistics within FTZ or bonded warehouse environments; Customs Broker license is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in transportation modes (small parcel, LTL, truckload, ocean/air freight). Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred. Key Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of trade compliance regulations and best practices. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to build partnerships across functions and influence stakeholders effectively. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
