Job Description:This position is responsible for operating the Gemini machine with correct settings and attention to detail. This position is also responsible for warehouse operator duties on a daily basis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate Gemini machine, calculate proper settings, complete machine component inspections, all with attention to detailPerform quality inspections of finished productsBuild loads for samples and Cambria customers as neededOperate a forklift and overhead crane throughout your shiftSort slabs and store them in the correct locations by dispositionComplete daily safety inspections of forklift and craneParticipate in quarterly cycle countsOrganize and maintain overall appearance of the warehouse including raw materials, packages, and pallets to ensure timely, accurate and careful deliveryMove materials to and from staging areas, production areas, and delivery vehicles using a forklift and ensure slabs are correctly scanned at time of movementMaintain and report inventory needsProvide documentation, including daily checklists, for the forklift and ensure it is accurateSustain an understanding of the load staging process, A-frame and slab return process, load verification process and the load planner reportUphold an understanding of Report Server, Reports, Oracle, Telnet Scanning and other company computer based programsKeep work area clean and orderlyPerform job duties safely as outlined in the Process Technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications and Skills::Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operationAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationBasic computer skillsMachine operating experience preferredForklift experience preferredEducation: High School Diploma or GED preferredExperience: Industrial work experience preferredCambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctualDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivatedPhysical Requirements: Use basic measurement devices (tape measure, caliper, gloss meter and warp bar, etc.)Lift up to 50 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesWork in a non-climate controlled environmentSeparate slabs using a separator tool in both racks and A-framesClimb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: Steel toed bootsHearing ProtectionSafety glassesCut-proof glovesHigh visibility vestCambria offers a competitive benefits package that encompasses Health and Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, 7 paid Holidays , 401(k) plus matching, Discretionary Profit Sharing, Flexible Spending Account; Life, Supplemental Life, and Disability Insurance; Referral Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discount and Professional Development Assistance.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
