Title: AWS Engineer - Integration Location: Remote
Ekman Associates is a management consulting firm that specializes in developing business, digital, and technology strategy, delivering solutions, and addressing human resource demands.
Summary: Staff Engineering Project Manager with a specific focus on supporting our Enterprise Technology division. Enterprise Technology supports corporate technology, broadcast, and production systems globally across the organization. This role will work on large complex software projects affecting large parts of the organization.

Platform responsibilities will include fulfilling access requests, performing routine maintenance, testing new features, and serving as a backup owner for: Amazon Connect, BeyondTrust Remote Support, Nexthink, CommunityWFM, and ScoreBuddy. Interface with third-part vendors (SaaS) Practical experience in Systems Engineering, Technical Management activities, Integration, and Interoperability. gile focused support in an AWS platform doing code development, administration, integration, deployments. Develop Rest APIs and Micro-services to deliver the software applications in Python, Java. Experience working in Relation/Non-Relational DB. SQL knowledge for querying the database. Perform code review for code developed in AWS components. Prepare unit testing per test plans & test cases. Deploy applications through CI/CD process with the use of Jenkins CI server, UCD, Gitlab etc technologies. Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for Cloud Governance and compliance. Build development and performing unit testing/sit/regression testing. Experience in managing/troubleshooting issues with SaaS integrations. Design integrated solutions in alignment with design patterns, blueprints, guidelines, and standard methodologies for products Understand technology vision and strategic direction of business needs Understand our current data model and infrastructure, proactively identify gaps, areas for improvement, and prescribe architectural recommendations with a focus on performance and accessibility utomate and optimize existing data processing workloads by recognizing patterns of data and technology usage and implementing solutions Solid grasp of the intersection between analytics and engineering while maintaining a proactive approach to assure solutions demonstrate high levels of performance, privacy, security, scalability, and reliability upon deployment Provide guidance to partners on effective use of the database management systems (DBMS) platform through collaboration, documentation, and associated standard methodologies Create automation services for builds using Terraform, Python, and OS shell scripts Develop validation and certification process through automation tools Participate in developing solutions by incorporating cloud native and 3rd party vendor products Qualifications:
B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people of varying technical proficiency Expertise with AWS, Amazon Connect, or similar tools Experience in designing and building large-scale solutions in an enterprise setting in both Five years in designing and building solutions in the cloud Expertise in building and maintaining Sage maker infrastructure while deploying AWS Sage maker components using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code Deep SQL expertise, data modeling, and experience with data governance in relational databases Refined skills using one plus scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.) Embrace data platform thinking, design and develop data pipelines keeping security, scale, uptime and reliability in mind Experience with leveraging CI/CD pipelines
