Job Description
Key responsibilities for
Project Manager (SE Michigan)
include:
Provide leadership and direction on commercial construction projects Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal Train and develop the Project team and schedule project resources MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The successful candidate for
Project Manager (SE Michigan)
possesses:
6+ years of commercial construction experience 3+ years of project management experience with full-service general contractor Strong background in Higher Education/Industrial/Automotive Construction is preferred Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite The ability to work in a fast paced work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team The desire to grow their career professionally Strong track record with client relationships What's on Offer
An offer for

Base salary of $115,000-$165,000 Car Allowance of $750-$1000 per month Company Credit Card/Gas Card 401k plan (6%) Performance based Bonus potential (up to 25% of base) HSA account with employer contribution Competitive Family Health Insurance Plans (Blue Cross Blue Shield) Paid Maternity/Paternity leave Short term/Long term disability Community Outreach Program Training and Mentorship Program Great reputation with sub-contractors & high quality self-perform group Work for ENR Rated firm that offers a family feel & cares about it's employees NO extended travel or relocation required - all projects local to SE Michigan
